Der Feuerwehr-Verein Wittenbach besitzt zwei Oldtimer.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Dodge CC<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Das Fahrzeug kam im Lauf des zweiten Weltkriegs von den USA nach Deutschland. Nach Kriegsende kaufte die Schweizer Armee diverse amerikanische Fahrzeuge von der US Army. 1960 wurde dieses Fahrzeug versteigert und von der Feuerwehr Wittenbach f\u00fcr 300 Fr. gekauft. Es erfolgte ein Umbau zum Mannschaftstransporter bei Carosserie M\u00fcller in Romanshorn.<\/p>\n

1978 wurde das Fahrzeug ausser Dienst gestellt, der genaue Verbleib in den n\u00e4chsten Jahren ist unbekannt. 1995 wurde der Feuerwehrverein Wittenbach gegr\u00fcndet und \u00fcbernahm das Fahrzeug f\u00fcr Vereinszwecke.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Das Fahrzeug wurde von 1971 bis 1990 als Atemschutzfahrzeug eingesetzt, danach bis 2000 als Verkehrsdienstfahrzeug. 2000 erfolgte die endg\u00fcltige Ausserdienststellung und die \u00dcbergabe an den Feuerwehrverein Wittenbach.<\/p>

Als Besonderheit verf\u00fcgt das Fahrzeug \u00fcber das optional bei Land Rover erh\u00e4ltliche W\u00fcstendach.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
